the downside to loving cats.... some of them bite. hard.

My thumb was a little swollen last night and it hurts to bend it.which also makes it difficult to grasp my scissors for cutting at work, not to mention the handle sits on my palm right where the cut is. even texting and crocheting hurts. i might need medical attention for this one. :(

I just wanted to email you and let you know why I’ve been blowing you off for the last month or so.

I feel that you’ve done nothing but choose other people when it comes to my important stuff. Example: my baby shower at Joe’s aunt’s house. The only reason you came was because Brandi’s baby shower was later that afternoon. Otherwise, you would have chosen to go to her baby shower instead because it was her “first baby” even though you were my maid of honor.

Another example: you chose to not go to my baby shower because you wanted to go out to the bar that night and go out to lunch the next day with Brandi and Chrissy and me. Both times, I was extremely pissed off but I just didn’t say anything to you because I figured that’s just how you are: irresponsible and immature. I’m just sick of it now after these things-- both my wedding and baby are extremely huge things in my life and you haven’t been very willing to be involved in any of them.

So when I have my family baby shower next month, you will not be invited. I already told my mom that I was through with you and not to send you an invitation. She thinks that you haven’t been a very good friend either, choosing everything else over the wedding and baby when you’re supposed to be my “best friend”.

I also am having someone else do our maternity pictures. You haven’t been involved the past 7 months of this pregnancy and I don’t want you to start getting involved now. I’m having a professional do our pictures because this is important to me and I want it to be important to our photographer too. She’s very talented and easy to work with, not to mention she does this for a living instead of a hobby.

We don’t have much in common anymore. You’re still in the single-girl-party mindset and aren’t ready to grow up yet. I’m married with a kid on the way, and want to hang out with people similar to me: with goals, ambition, and similar lives.

I’m really glad we were such good friends for a few years, but I feel that for me, it’s time to move on. I still consider you a friend, but I don’t consider you my best friend anymore. I hope you understand."

I work part time for slave drivers, I dont have the blessing of working a steady 9 to 5 job m-f. I also went BACK TO SCHOOL (Something she'll NEVER do) and worked my ASS off and got a fucking 4.0 thanks to it.

I UNDERSTAND that shes married and is having a baby. But she has to understand that just because SHE is, doesnt mean MY life has to change too.

THE HELL I didnt want anything to do with her wedding and her baby shower. I organized and threw her fucking bachelorette party! And I WANTED to throw her a baby shower but she told me someone else already was!

It brought my GPA up to a 3.069 And if I do better than that, then my GPA can only go up!

*happy dances* I've never had a 4.0 in my life!!
